Where is Woongarrah?

Woongarrah is less than 60 kilometres south of Newcastle, via the Pacific Highway, on the New South Wales Central Coast. It is in the eastern part of the Wyong Shire, which is also home to the trio of lakes that form the beautiful Tuggerah Lakes Estuary. Locals can still commute north to Newcastle or south to Sydney (just 100 kilometres away) for work and return to the fresh air and gorgeous natural environment.

The Warnervale station provides great train access on the Central Coast and Newcastle line in both directions. The station is less than 5 kilometres away, with plenty of car parking spaces and a secure bike lock up facility for those wanting to start their day with some exercise. The suburb itself is also well serviced by bus routes that connect locals within the suburb and to neighbouring suburbs such as Hamlyn Terrace, Charmhaven and Lake Haven.
